1. Media, Broadcast & Promotional Consent
By submitting this application, you understand and agree that the organisers, sponsors, and authorised partners will capture media during the talent search.
Media Capture: You grant full permission for photographs, video footage, and audio recordings to be taken of you during the live auditions on the date that will be communicated, at YWCA-Dube, Soweto, and during any subsequent stages of the programme.
Usage Rights: You grant the organisers the irrevocable, worldwide right to use, edit, publish, and broadcast these photos, videos, and audio recordings. This includes usage on social media, television, streaming platforms, and marketing materials without any financial compensation or royalties owed to you.
2. Protection of Personal Information (POPIA Compliance)
In compliance with the South African Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA):
Purpose of Collection: The personal, residential, and vocal information you provide in this online form will be used strictly for administrative, verification, and communication purposes related to the So We Sing Too programme.
Data Security: Your data will be stored securely and will not be shared with or sold to third-party advertisers.
3. Eligibility, Attendance & Liability
Criteria: You confirm you are a South African citizen or permanent resident between the ages of 18 and 35. You may be required to present your South African ID at the live audition for verification.
Availability: You confirm you are fully available for the live audition in Soweto on the date that will be confirmed.
Liability: You acknowledge that physical attendance at the auditions is voluntary. The organisers, venue management (YWCA-Dube), and event staff accept no liability for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property sustained at the event.
Electronic Declaration & Signature
- I have read, understood, and agree to the Media & Promotional Consent terms. I agree to being filmed and photographed for promotional and broadcasting purposes.
- I consent to the processing of my personal information under POPIA guidelines for the purpose of this talent search.
- I certify that all information submitted in this application is true and accurate, and I meet all eligibility requirements (Age 18-35, South African citizen/resident).
